Two new ophthalmologists join the Institut de la Màcula

Dr. Sala is a graduate in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Barcelona. She specialised in Ophthalmology at the University Hospital of Valladolid, where she also took a Master’s Degree in Vision Sciences and an Official Master’s Degree in Retina.
She also won a clinical and research fellowship in Medical Retina at the Manchester Royal Eye Hospital, where she took part in different clinical trials and research projects. She went on to take a surgical fellowship in Vitreous and Retina at the Royal Liverpool Hospital.
Dr. Sala is a specialist in the diagnosis and treatment of the pathologies of the retina, together with their medical and surgical treatment. In recent years, she has participated in a variety of works published in international journals and in national and international congresses. She is a member of the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) and of the Spanish Retina and Vitreous Society (SERV).
Dr. March de Ribot is a graduate in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Lleida. He specialised in Ophthalmology at the Universitari Parc Taulí Hospital in Sabadell.
He went on to win a clinical, surgical and research fellowship in Medical and Surgical Retina and another in Cataract and Microsurgery of the Anterior Segment. He took part in a variety of clinical trials and research projects using state-of-the-art techniques in retina and anterior segment.
Dr. March de Ribot is a specialist in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies of the retina and the anterior segment, together with their medical and surgical treatment. In recent years, he has produced a variety of works published in international journals and has participated in national and international congresses.
He is a member of the European Society of Retina Specialists (EURETINA) and the Spanish Retina and Vitreous Society (SERV).
