Annual Meeting of MuscleTech Network

This Tuesday was the launch of the MuscleTech Network Conference to celebrate the 4th annual Meeting for this Project, which was held in the Camp Nou installations. These talks will continue until Wednesday in the Lateral Anterooms (door 68, access 14) and have been organizedwith the collaboration of the FC Barcelona Foundation, Leitat and the Leo Messi Foundation, the support of the Catalonia Regional Minister for Sport and the participation of Egarsat.

The conference this Tuesday was launched with the opening speech given by Dr. Jordi Mones, Director of the Medical Department of FC Barcelona, Eusebi Cima, President of the Centro Tecnologico Leitat, Dr. Xavier Gasso,Director of Health Management in Egarsat, and Albert Marco, Director of the Catalonia Regional Sport’s Authorities.

Review challenges and progress made

The objective of these scientific sessions, organized by the MuscleTech Network, is to review the challenges and also the progress made in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of muscular and tendon lesions.

Catalan scientists and experts, hand-in-hand with MuscleTech Network, are working in hospitals, universities and research centres so that these new treatments can become real cures for these patients.

Over these few days, the results of research activity into muscular-skeletal illnesses, disorders and lesions based on new approaches and coordinated by MuscleTech Network will be presented.
