The annual meeting of the SCO gathers the majority of Catalonia’s ophthalmologists and also draws others from the rest of Spain. This year, the core of the convention was focused on retinal disease. In the round table on medical retina, new diagnostic methods were explained, including OCT angiography and its application in retinal disease, new treatments of the most prevalent pathologies, such as AMD, and the treatments that will be available to doctors and patients in the near future.
