Dr. Al Muhtaseb participates in the 8th Meeting of the European Vision Institute Clinical Research Network in Paris

The Eighth Meeting of the European Vision Institute Clinical Research Network (EVICR.net) opened in Paris this morning. This is an annual two-day event in which prestigious ophthalmologists and clinical researchers from Europe meet and display a high degree of quality and excellence in presenting their work in the field of ophthalmology.

Dr. Hussein Al Muhtaseb, the ophthalomologist who is a specialist in pathologies of the retina at the Institut de la Màcula, is attending the conferences on rare diseases and age-related macular degeneration (AMD) and retinal dystrophies, coordinated by Jose Sahel, MD, PhD.

This body, which promotes the development of new drugs, currently comprises 76 members from 16 European countries among which is the Institut de la Màcula.
