Dr. Jordi Monés presents « AMD Clinical trials Update » at the 14th ESASO Congress in Istanbul

Dr. Jordi Monés, MD, PhD, the Director and ophthalmologist specialising in macula, retina and vitreous at the Institut de la Màcula  will present, in the company of other world experts, the AMD clinical trials update at the 14th Congress of the European School for Advanced Studies in Ophthalmology. The event will take place on November 13-15 in the Turkish city of Istanbul and will assemble more than 1000 of the top ophthalmologists from 50 countries.

On Friday 14th, Dr. Monés will give a masterclass on chorioretinal dystrophies, together with Dr. Rafael Navarro. He will also provide a lecture on evidence-based management of retinal ischaemia. Finally, Dr. Monés will assess clinical cases of retinal pathologies in the company of other international experts.

On Saturday 15th, Dr. Monés will give a lecture titled “AMD clinical trials update”, where he will present the principal developments in the clinical trials to overcome Age-Related Macular Degeneration.

The Congress, which gathers the best world experts, focusses on pathologies of the retina and reviews the most important scientific breakthroughs in the specialty.
