Dr. José Nieto presents a clinical case at “Barcelona Oculoplastics: Developments in Palpebral Surgery”

Dr. José Nieto, the ophthalmologist specialising in ocular plastic surgery at the Institut de la Màcula, will present a clinical case at the course “Barcelona Oculoplastics: Development in Palpebral Surgery”. It will be held in Barcelona on Friday 17 April.

The clinical case to be presented by Dr. Nieto is “Lifting of the eyebrow tail associated with upper blepharoplasty temporally”, in Session V: Rapid-fire surgical techniques. Blepharoplasty is cosmetic surgery of the eyelids. In the upper eyelids, it consists of removing an excess of skin and, on occasions, fat tissue. The scar in this operation is invisible as it is hidden in the natural fold of the upper eyelid.

“Barcelona Oculoplastics: Developments in Palpebral Surgery” is aimed at ophthalmologists with an interest in oculoplastic surgery, oculoplastic surgeons and other professionals with an interest in the periocular region (plastic surgeons, cosmetic doctors, dermatologists etc.).
