The Institut de la Màcula represented at Vision Research Day in Zurich

Dr. Jordi Monés, the Director and ophthalmologist who specialises in the macula, retina and vitreous at the Institut de la Màcula, will attend the Vision Research Day in Zurich on Friday, 14 March. Organised by Novartis Ophthalmology and Alcon, the two-day event enables European retina specialists to share their expertise and experience in the field of ophthalmology.

A wide range of topics will be covered at the meeting including: new research and findings, ophthalmological advances and future surgical procedures together with the commitment to science in these continuing difficult economic times.

Vision Research Day will be presided by Professor Francesco Bandello of Milan’s Vita-Salute San Raffaele University, Professor Francine Behar-Cohen of Lausanne’s Jules-Gonin Ophthalmic Hospital and Dr. Adnan Tufail of Moorfields Eye Hospital in London.
