Optometrist Marc Biarnés, a new member of the Executive Board of the scientific publication Journal of Optometry

The Spanish General Council of Optometrists has appointed the optometrist and coordinator of clinical trials of the Institut de la Màcula, Marc Biarnés, as the new member of the Executive Board of the scientific publication, Journal of Optometry.

This journal, which belongs to the Spanish General Council of Optometrists, is aimed at optometrists, ophthalomologists and visual scientists together with postgraduate students in this field. Published quarterly and freely accessible on the internet, its subject matter includes clinical and experimental studies and research in the field of Optometry, Ophthalmic Optics and Ocular Surface.

In addition, Journal of Optometry has just been included on PubMed, the search engine of the Medline database, which is the most widely used by the biomedical community.
