AMD does not produce blindness if it is detected in time

Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) does not produce blindness if it is detected in time. This condition does not disappear but it can be stopped. In Spain, more than 700,000 people suffer AMD but three out of four paralyze vision loss. In addition, 30% of patients may even recover some of it.

If patients continue the treatment through the time, they will have a better quality of life.
