The 12th Annual Meeting of the Spanish Ocular Surface and Cornea Group (GESOC) takes place in Madrid tomorrow

Tomorrow, 28 March, the 12th Annual Meeting of the Spanish Ocular Surface and Cornea Group (GESOC) is being held in the Auditorium Hotel Madrid and Príncipe Felipe Congress Centre.
This edition, which draws prestigious Spanish and international cornea specialists, has as its central theme “Corneal Endothelium”. Speakers such as Dr. Shigeru Kinoshita, Professor and Chairman of Ophthalmology of the Kyoto University of Medicine; J.M. Benítez del Castillo, the Professor and Chair of Ophthalmology of the University Clinical Hospital; Dr. Elba Agustí, Biologist of the Transplant Service Foundation; and Dr. Piluca Puy of the Fuenlabrada Hospital, will update and explain the latest techniques for the treatment of corneal pathology.
Attending in representation of the Institut de la Màcula is Dra. Paula Verdaguer, the ophthalmologist who specialises in cornea, refractive surgery and cataract.
Each year, the Spanish Ocular Surface and Cornea Group (GESOC) hosts a meeting that enables expert ophthalmologists who specialise in cornea to examine the latest developments in the different pathologies affecting this area of the eye.
