Dr. Jordi Monés, moderator and speaker at the Retina Meeting in Santiago de Compostela

Dr. Jordi Monés, the ophthalmologist specialising in macula, retina and vitreous at the Institut de la Màcula, will participate at the Retina Meeting to be held in the Galician town of Santiago de Compostela on 17-18 April. The event consists of a refresher course on medical and surgical retina.

Dr. Monés will be the moderator and speaker in a round table entitled “Developments in AMD”. He will analyse the developments in the treatment of age-related macular degeneration in its dry or atrophic type and the role stem cells will play in the pathology.
