Dr. Monés, with the ophthalmological elite in the United States

The Director of the Institut de la Màcula, Dr. Jordi Monés, has visited the United States to participate in a number of activities, presentations and meetings at the Congress of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), held in Chicago on 15-18 October. Dr. Monés also acted as master of ceremonies in New York at the presentation of FCB Universitas, in his capacity as board member of FC Barcelona and the initiative’s Commissioner.

In addition, Dr. Monés took part in the Investigator Update Meeting presentation of Lampalizumab (Roche) and the Alcon Retina Exchange Film Festival, both in Chicago, as well as the Biennial Ocular Regeneration Meeting in Boston.

Dr. Monés coincided in the United States with three members of the Scientific Board of the Barcelona Macula Foundation, Baruch D. Kupperman, Jayakrishna Ambati and Giovanni Staurenghi, who also gave lectures at the AAO Congress, which was organised in collaboration with the Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology (APAO).
